The Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII intro video has been uploaded to YouTube (and various other video sites). The intro is almost 3:30 minutes long and reminds a lot of the original Final Fantasy VII intro sequence.

I love how it starts and ends just like the FF7 intro!

... some of the choreography reminds me of that PS3 FFVII demo video thingy we got to see awhile bk ... that got us all excited on a FF7 remake heh.

... very nice opening movie except for him just running into open fire ... and not even getting touched >.> ... FF chars get away w/ just about anything ... :p

Yea I think the ending is exactly like the "FFVII Tech Demo" one (if I remember right) except its Zack and not Cloud jumping off the train.

The Japanese release is in 3 days (13th) and I would guess that the North American and European release is about 6 months away.

The soldiers who shoot him reminded me of the same soldiers who Shuyin and Leene in ffx-2. They have the same head protection I think. I don't fancy Zack that much it's a good intro though full of raw action and no limits used.

I never played Final Fantasy VII but am currently watching the entire gameplay on YouTube (before anyone says anything bad about this, keep in mind the only place I could buy this game is on the internet and no, I don't have a credit card or know anyone that want to use theirs on the internet)

my question is, since this is a prequel to the original, could someone who never played the FFVII play Crisis Core before? or will there be character details skipped if already explained in the FFVII?
