Square Enix's latest mobile RPG card-battler, Deadman's Cross, has been downloaded over one million times in less than two weeks. They are celebrating this achievement by giving away a special in-game gift. Players who download and register Deadman’s Cross by February 28th (09:00 GMT / 01:00 PST) will receive 300 Deadman Coins.

Deadman's Cross

Deadman's Cross is a free-to-play zombie-themed collectible card battle RPG, and the latest creation from the same team that brought you the multimillion-download hit Guardian Cross.

You can download the game for free on the iOS App Store or at Google Play.

Man Square Enix is really spewing out mobile games these days. They're probably good but I just hate the free-to-play model.

Some of their mobile games are actually pretty cool. Bloodmasque was entertaining up to a certain point in the game where it became almost impossible to advance without having to resort to buying potions and other items with real money. Sure you could grind for hours to save up enough in-game currency but that gets old fast.
