The official site for Final Fantasy XII was updated yesterday, revealing a little more information and images. The sections updated was: Characters, Specs, MovieShots, GameShots with two newly added sections: Topics and Access. Other than that, the movie that plays during your visit had been updated also.

Firstly, in the Characters section. This section wasn't really updated with new information. Just a "Coming Soon" slot for a new character to be revealed later this month. I presume this is "Fran" the Viera archer.

Secondly, in the Specs section. This section now holds brief profiles of key staff members.

Producer/Director Yasumi Matsuno - Division 4 Director

The creator of "Ogre Battle" series, "Final Fantasy Tactics" series and "Vagrant Story".

Art Director Hideo Minaba

Involved in "Final Fantasy VI" with background visuals, "Final Fantasy XI" and "Final Fantasy Tactics" with art directions. In "Final Fantasy XII", he designs the gadgets and backgrounds as the chief of art direction.

Character Designer/3D Map Direction Akihiko Yoshida

Involved in "Ogre Battle" as background visual director and character designs, "Final Fantasy Tactics" with character designs and "Vagrant Story" also with character designs and 3D map design. In "Final Fantasy XII", he is responsible for the character designs and 3D map direction.

Graphic & Character-model Hiroshi Minagawa

Re-creating graphics to correspond the new systems. Adjusting the characters and overall graphics in real-time movement.

Background Art Isamu Kamikokuryou Involved in "Final Fantasy VII" and "Final Fantasy X" as background art designer. In "Final Fantasy XII", he designs key visuals as the chief of art designer.

Thirdly, in the MovieShots and GameShots section, few new images were added. You can navigate through the site to see the images, or you could visit Quiter to see the whole lot.

Fourthly, in the new Topics section. This section informs us that "Final Fantasy XII" trailer will be shown at Jump Festa 2004, which will be held through 20th to 21st of December 2003. Expecting new information from this event...
