In Traverse Town you can find 10 postcards during the game, this mini quest will reward you with an items each time you put a letter in the mailbox located in the first district. This guide will tell you where to get all ten of them.
Postcard #1 - Go to Huey, Louie and Dewey's item shop in the first district and hit the fan in the ceiling.
Postcard #2 - Go to the blue trinity mark in front of the cafe that lies in the first district.
Postcard #3 - Behind Cid's accessory shop you'll see a big glowing sun/face, jump in the booth and open the safe.
Postcard #4 - Climb to the roof of Cid's accessory shop located in the first district.
Postcard #5 - Jump up to the awning of the shoe store in the second district.
Postcard #6 - Climb to the top of the Gizmo Shop using the ladder, then jump from roof to roof, and take the secret entrance to the third district, there you'll find a postcard.
Postcards #7-8 - In the third district you'll see some exposed wires, (top left corner when you come from the second district) cast thunder on them. Now head over to the second district and the Gizmo Shop. In the Gizmo shop you must activate the system (by jumping on the buttons). When you have done that examine the clock and you'll get two cards.
Postcard #9 - Go to the green trinity mark in Cid's accessory shop, then look at the wall in the Moogles workshop.
Postcard #10 - After defeating Monstro Geppeto will move to Traverse Town, his house is located in the first district not far from Cid's accessory shop. Enter his house and examine the pot.
