Gold Saucer is the pace to have fun while playing Final Fantasy VII. The whole place is a huge entertainment park with lots of stuff to do. Some of the best things are the Chocobo Races and the Battle Arena/Square, in both games you can acquire bonus items that may be important later in the game. Most rides and games require GP, GP is the Gold Saucer's form of currency and can be gained by winning games and races or buying it with Gil.

Buy GP: Right at the entrance of Gold Saucer under the hand of the giant Moogle, you can sometimes see a man hiding. If you talk to him, he will sell you one GP for 100 Gil. You can buy up to 100 GP from him. To get more just exit Gold Saucer and enter again.

Bike Game: (Cost: 100 Gil | Reward: x GP) This game is like the bike sequence early in FF7 at the end of Midgard. You are chased by Shinra bikes and have to hit the soldiers off their bikes with your sword.

Submarine Game: (Cost: 200 Gil | Reward: 20 GP) This is the same as the submarine sequence. You'll have to hunt down enemy subs.

Ball Game: (Cost: 200 Gil | Reward: x GP) You score goals, by throwing the ball at the target.

Fortune Telling: (Cost: 50 Gil | Reward: N/A) The machine mostly gives you random fortunes, but sometimes it may tell you about a real event from the game.

Arm Wrestling Game: (Cost: 100 or 200 Gil | Reward: 1 or 2 GP) You're going to arm wrestle a opponent by hitting the circle button (NB! Do it fast).

Mog Game: (Cost: 100 Gil | Reward: 30 GP) You must help Mog so he'll be able to fly and meet his girlfriend. To do so you must feed him with the right amount of Kupo nuts.

Battle Game: (Cost: 200 gil | Reward: GP) You have to fight an opponent. To fight you choose high, low or medium attack. And to defend yourself then you defend high, low or medium.

Battle Arena/Square: (Cost: 10 GP | Reward: Misc items) The Battle Square/Arena is one of the important attractions in Golde Saucer. You can choose a character and battle against enemies. When you win a match you get Battle Points aka BP. BP can be used to buy items. This is where you'll be able to get clouds last limitbreak.

Chocobo Square: (Cost: N/A | Reward: Misc items) This is the best mini game in Final Fantasy VII, here you can race the chocobos that you have caught. Your chocobo will level up when you win races.
