KH2 Gets European Release Date

September 29th, 2006 marks the day that the massively successful Kingdom Hearts II will debut in European territories. The story picks up where Chain of Memories--the intermediary installment--ended, and follows Sora, Donald, and Goofy in their search for Riku. KHII sees the introduction of new characters to the PS2 format such as Roxas, Namine, DiZ, and countless other characters as Sora and the different worlds struggle against the ruthless Organization XIII.

KHII sold 727,591 copies in its first week of release in Japan. In its first month of release in North American territories, KHII sold 1 million copies.

A new scan is making its way around the internet and boy, is it worth seeing. Japanese magazine V-Jump has leaked this scan of the next Kingdom Hearts game. I'm at a loss for what it might mean; but it's still fun to look at and fantasize about. Hopefully, TGS 2007 will loosen the lips of our favorite game company......
