New expansion = new job class

Not exactly breaking news but a couple of weeks ago a new job was confirmed for the new Final Fantasy XI expansion pack, Wings of the Goddess. The new job is named "Scholar".

During the Crystal Wars these military tacticians often served as high-ranking officers in allied forces across Vana'diel. They have extensive knowledge of ancient martial theory giving them the ability to wield dual schools of magic, between which they would alternate depending on the situation at hand.

To me the job sounds like a Red Mage but I'm sure there are going to be some differences between the two jobs. Wings of the Goddess is set for a worldwide (yes Europe too) release in exactly one week on November the 22nd.
