Lara Croft: Reflections Is A Card Game

Earlier this year Square Enix registered the trademark Lara Croft: Reflections. Little was known about what kind of game it was and which platform it would be for until now.

Lara Croft: Reflections is a free-to-play card battle game for iOS where players must hunt artifacts, combine weapons and battle enemies using cards. Multiplayer is supported, with group raids on bosses and yes there are plenty of in-app-purchases available.

The game is currently only out in New Zealand and Australia and will probably not be available anywhere else until 2014.

Here's a list of features along with a 30 minute gameplay video:

Adventure through mysterious lost worlds, collect valuable artifacts, battle enemies and other game players, and combine new weapons to increase your power!

Explore mysterious lands and battle powerful foes!

Collect powerful weapons to attack enemies and other players in massive real time PvP card battle combat!

Collect and combine weapon cards to level up and evolve new powerful weapon cards!

Steal artifacts from other players and protect your artifacts!

Participate in group battles to defeat powerful event bosses for massive rewards!

It looks decent for a card-battler but it's not really my cup of tea.

Not a big fan of the card battle genre myself but I'm really looking forward to the PS4 release of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

I thought it would be like a "best of" game where we would revisit the best levels of the old games :p
