Square Enix just announced another mobile title—Mevius Final Fantasy—for its already packed Spring 2015 lineup. Mevius will place a renewed focus on the series' shared mythology and roots. The newest mobile Final Fantasy was announced by the current chief of all things Final Fantasy, Yoshinori Kitase, in a tandem interview with Hironobu Sakaguchi, who needs no introduction among longtime fans.
Kitase shared a few images and details as part of Famitsu's brief preview, essentially confirming that the title's main protagonist is a new Warrior of Light, and that the gameplay is reminiscent of classic Final Fantasy titles. Kitase is joined by scenario writer Kazushige Nojima, of Final Fantasy X acclaim, and character designer Toshiyuki Itahana—who most recently contributed to Final Fantasy Explorers.
A specific date was not mentioned, but Mevius will almost certainly find itself in the company of G-Bike, Agito/Agito+, Type-0 HD, and X | X-2 HD for PS4 next Spring.

I only write an article once every...six months or so now, it seems, so I'm quite glad this is the one I chose this time around. Final Fantasy IX has just released on Google Play and The App Store for Android and iOS devices. Even better, the game is 20% off ($16.99 USD) from now until February 21st, so pick...
Was that the new RPG that they were gonna reveal this month? I hope not.
Edit: Never mind. The new game is supposedly a console title.
