Star Ocean 3 (Till the End of Time): Director's Cut was released today in Japan. In this event, Square Enix announced that it will be releasing two albums from the Star Ocean series. The first will be a mini-album dedicated to Star Ocean 3: Director's Cut. It will be released on February 18, 2004 for 2,100 JPY. On March 24, Square Enix will release the Star Ocean one album for 3,150 JPY.
Star Ocean 3: Director's Cut will come in two DVDs and is rumoured to have an external instruction manual. The game will most probably make its way to the US this Summer seeing that Drakengard is coming out this March. SO3:DC will make its way to Europe soon after its release in the North America.
(Update Jan.23.04) It has been stated by GameOnline that Star Ocean 3: Director's Cut has sold over 57,578 copies in its first day of release in Japan.

According to Amazon.co.uk the European version of Star Ocean 3: Til the End of Time will ship with a bonus DVD containing Final Fantasy XII footage.
