Square Enix has confirmed that its PlayStation 2 title Star Ocean: Till the End of Time will be released in North America on August 31st for $49.99 US. The North American version of the tri-Ace developed RPG is not based on the original release, but on the enhanced director's cut version, which was released in Japan earlier this year. Both releases have sold a combined 660,000 copies in Japan.
The game will also be released in Europe but no release date is available at this time.
