Square Enix has released some new information on its newest PlayOnline title, Fantasy Earth: Ring of Dominion. As previously revealed, the PC-based title will be a genre mix, incorporating three different popular genres: MMORPG, 3D action RPG and realtime strategy game. The MMORPG portion will let players team up with fellow users and fight monsters, while the 3D action RPG part will center around realm vs realm battles. The realtime strategy battles will allow players to conquer the game's six continents. Like offline action RPGs a la Kingdom Hearts, Fantasy Earth will allow players to use skills, side steps, jumps and other action moves, while fighting opponents in 3D environments. Giant crystals and huge dragons are just two features of the title's massive world.

Fantasy Earth: Ring of Dominion will be available in Japan sometime next year.
