Square-Enix have announced that Kingdom Hearts II will see a release in December in Japan. A specific date was not announced, and neither was a release date for the US. That said, all is not lost for US fans of the Kingdom Hearts series.
Square-Enix reportedly is very hard at work trying to bring the game to the US at the same time as Japan. If that is not possible, the company is committed to releasing the game in the US very shortly after the Japanese release.

A new scan is making its way around the internet and boy, is it worth seeing. Japanese magazine V-Jump has leaked this scan of the next Kingdom Hearts game. I'm at a loss for what it might mean; but it's still fun to look at and fantasize about. Hopefully, TGS 2007 will loosen the lips of our favorite game company......
