In this DVD sequel to the 1997 PlayStation video game, Cloud Strife now endures a life of self-imposed exile, while the people of Midgar build themselves a new city on its fringes, known as “Edge.”

However, two years after Final Fantasy VII’s conclusion, the planet is beset by a disease known only as “Geostigma.” In the wake of Sephiroth’s death and the rise of Geostigma, three individuals ruthlessly attack Cloud, searching for the one they’ve identified as “Mother.”

In a desperate bid to save the Planet and prevent another Reunion, Cloud and his friends must confront yet another threat to the stability of the world. Reunite with memorable characters from Final Fantasy VII in this CGI sequel.
