Square's Pumping them Out

Enix is pulling out all the stops to make 2006 one of the most memorable, and profitable, years for videos games in the company's history. In addition to a round of new Final Fantasy titles, Valkyrie Profile ports and sequels, and a bunch of new and ambitious projects announced, Square's pumping out a fourth installment in its underdog Action-RPG series Seiken Densetsu.

Square hasn't released too many details on Dawn of Mana just yet, but we know it is a part of the World of Mana compilation, is headed for a December 21, 2006 in Japan, was recently trademarked for a US release, and will incorporate environment environment interaction. Hmmmm...destroyed buildings and earth, Red Faction style, anyone?

Few plot details have emerged, except that the main characters are a boy named Eldy, and priestess named Ritzia, whose home is soon invaded by a foreign power, setting into motion their great adventure.

No word on a NA release date yet, but with Final Fantasy V Advance, VI Advance, and III DS on the way, I'm sure we'll all have something to keep us occupied!
