In an recent interview with the well known Japanese videogame magazine Famitsu, SquareSoft president Yoichi Wada announced that Final Fantasy XII is scheduled for a 2003 release in Japan, the exact date is still unknown.
He also talked about the future of Final Fantasy, particularly the next instalment in the series, Final Fantasy XIII, he said that the Square team is discussing about the game.
