Anniversary Release Dates Announced

The game that started it all has received a release date for the PSP. This anniversary edition of Final Fantasy I will hit stores in Japan on April 19. It will retail for 3,800 Yen or about $30.00 USD.

If you were hoping to get the anniversary edition of Final Fantasy II packaged in as well, think again. Unlike the Dawn of Souls release, Final Fantasy II will be released separately sometime in May.

April is shaping up to be the month of Final Fantasy in Japan, as Final Fantasy I will precede the release the Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.

Square Enix has not yet commented on releases outside of Japan.
