Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War has been dated and priced for release in Japan. Initially revealed in an early December issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, The Lion War will be an updated port of the original PlayStation entry. It will include a new job class, the Dark Knight, extended cut scenes, and the use of cel-shaded full motion videos. The extras don't end there, the Lion War includes Balthier from Final Fantasy XII, and boasts an updated sound track.
The Japanese market will be expecting this game on May 10, 2007 for 4,800, or $40.00 USD
In proper Square Enix fashion, no mention was made of a release outside of Japan.
Edit: Thanks for spotting that mix up in Roman numerals, Kain!
