Looking for that perfect Christmas Card for the KH fanboy in your family? Looks like SquareEnix has just what you're looking for, and right in time for the holidays.

Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories will be heading to US retailers on December 02nd, 2008 for the decent price of $29.99USD. The PlayStation 2 title has a Teaser Site up now, with promise of a full one to come.

I wish they had also released Final Mix >_<

I hope it gets released in Europe. If it does then I have to get my old TV from the basement since PS2 games look like crap when they get upscaled to HD :p

hey Kula you have a ps3 right? if you do the ps3 does a pretty decent job upscaling. I tried it with FF XII and when I played it on my hdtv with my ps2 it looking all fuzzy but with my ps3 it was much sharper and clearer.

kula shakerz    2008-09-20, 16:41 pm

Yeah I tried to play FFXII on my PS3 but I think it looked like crap. Might be because I'm used to the new high-res games but I'm pretty sure it looked better when playing it on the PS2 using a SDTV

I hope it gets a European release also. If they're bothering to release it in the US I don't see why they wouldn't release it in Europe. On upscaling PS2 games, PS3 upscaling isn't an option in Australia as we don't have any PS3s with backwards compatibility (unless you were a very early adopter).

No backwards compatibility sucks. I was going to wait to buy a PS3 for the price to drop until i heard that all of the new PS3s in the US wont have backwards compatibility, so i got the MGS4 pack (I wanted mgs4 anyway). Bad move on Sony's part IMO.

Yeah, that's right. Re:Chain of Memories is out in the US today. The GBA version was pretty good, and you're getting an upgraded port with this one. Seems like a good idea to pick it up. All i'm saying is that, SquareEnix wouldn't even give us the full KH2:FM+ release, just Re:CoM. Do we really want to go for this,...

Square-Enix has revealed to managers at this week's Gamestop Manager Conference that they will be releasing the PlayStation 2 remake of the GBA title Kingdom Hears: Chain of Memories in North America. The title was originally bundled in Japan with Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix, but will be released in the US as a standalone game with a $29.99 price...

New Scans for Re:Chain of Memories

Brendan    2006-10-03    0 comments

New scans of Re:Chain of Memories, the remake of the same Game Boy Advance title on the Playstation 2, have surfaced in a variety of magazine scans and clippings. There were/are a lot, and since I host images on my own account grumble grumble I had to choose a select few that I thought exemplified the reasons to actually go...
