Gaming website Kotaku is reporting that an image advertising the 'Winter 2009' release of the highly anticipated Final Fantasy XIII is attached to the end of the game's demo, which itself is attached to Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete.
Speculation is abundant that the recent delay of Dragon Quest IX would only cause more trouble for the elusive release date of Square's next major entry into the Final Fantasy series. And since Advent Children Complete does not hit shelves until April 16th in Japan, and a winter release would mean a Japanese one at best, it's difficult to be certain.
Either way, North America and Europe should still unbuckle their safety belts and grab a book or something, it's going to be a long ride.
