SquareEnix producer Shinji Hashimoto has announced via his Twitter feed that Final Fantasy IX will head to the JP PSN on May 20th. Hey, that's only two weeks from now!
A US release has not been announced, but E3 is just around the corner, so who knows. Pricing was also not mentioned, but you can probably expect the same ¥1500JPY price-point that FF's VII & VIII received~

I was so eager to put up some money in my PSN wallet in order to buy FF7 and 8 and play them.
And then... i realised... Why buy the games from PSN when i already have the original CD's, bought so many years ago...?
I mean... downloading the games from PSN is exactly the same as playing them from the CD's, right? No updated graphics, nothing new. Just an exact copy of the original CD's (which i already have and play perfectly fine on my PS3)
