Developers Might Leave The Company

Square and Enix's merger is being worked very hard on by the executive committee members of both companies. The whole agreement was done within the executives and no information was given to the employees of both companies. It was not until November 26, 2002 that the public and the employees both found out about the companies' plan to merge. This has enraged many employees within both companies because of the fact that they were not informed of such a large decision being made. Many developers/designers might leave their respective companies if the merger continues, bringing this merger into jeapordy once again.

But in the end, we hope that we don't loose the main important people from Squaresoft like Hironobu Sakaguchi, Tetsuya Nomura or Yoshinori Kitase. And we hope that they remain faithful to the new Square Enix company. Because if they are lost, then the future of Square and Final Fantasy itself may be in jeapordy.
