Lightning Returns Previews Hit the Web

Ahead of the game's early February release, a trove of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII previews are hitting the web. The sentiment, by and large, echoes that of the game's Japanese release a little over a month ago: an improvement over its siblings but still just as odd. Square Enix also accidentally released an demo of the Xbox 360 version of the game but it was quickly pulled from Xbox Live, likely until closer to the official release date.

Square Enix also redesigned the Lightning Returns website over the weekend, though much of the content remains the same. For buyers in North America, Square Enix is promising release-day delivery for the regular and collector's editions of the game.

But don't take my word for it. Check out some of the previews yourself:

Lightning Returns will be hitting stores next month but eager fans can already purchase the soundtrack via iTunes.
