The North American release of Bravely Default is less than two weeks away and Nintendo has just uploaded two new TV commercials and a gameplay trailer to YouTube.

Bravely Default, known as Bravely Default: Flying Fairy (ブレイブリーデフォルト フライングフェアリー) in Japan, is a traditional role-playing game with turn-based combat, and is by many considered a spiritual successor to the 2009 video game Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light.

Bravely Default was released in Japan and Europe last year and it's hitting North American shelves on February 7th.

I've decided to get a 2DS exclusively for this game. And maybe Pokémon, but mostly Bravely Default!

If anyone is thinking of buying a Square game in February, this is the correct choice.

The sequel to 2012's love letter to JRPGs and, in more than a few places, Final Fantasy, will introduce twelve new...

Final Fantasy Explorers Available Now

Final Fantasy Explorers, the plucky action-RPG upstart that took its time getting out of Japan, is now available to Western fans. If review units were provided to the mainstream gaming press then it would seem that Square Enix has not yet lifted the embargo which, historically, is not a great sign if the publisher is relying on positive buzz to...

Final Fantasy Explorers is by no means a new game. Released in Japan a little over a year ago, this quirky hybrid of Final Fantasy and Monster Hunter has drawn the curiosity of western gamers since the title's announcement. In just a few short weeks Final Fantasy Explorers will launch for the Nintendo 3DS in the United States on January...
