The official Drakengard 3 website was recently updated with four more chapters of the prequel novella. They have also uploaded a new developer video where art designer Kimihiko Fujisaka discusses the creative process behind the characters of Drakengard 3. From his early concepts to balancing modern and medieval styles, his insights paint a picture of how Drakengard 3's signature style was created.
Drakengard 3 is set before the events in the original game, and six goddess-like sisters known as Intoners have brought peace to the Earth with their power to manipulate through song.
But, as you can probably guess, this harmony doesn’t last – the elder sister, Zero, attempts to murder her siblings with help from the dragon Mikhail, and it’s your job to find out just what’s going on.
The game has already been released in Japan and its coming out on May 20th in North America and on May 21st in Europe.
