Square announced today that Final Fantasy Origins, the PlayStation remakes of the first two Final Fantasy games, will launch in the U.S. on April 8. Both games will come on one disc for the modest price of $30. Square also launched an official site for the US version of the game at this address.
Both games feature revamped graphics and sound, tweaks to gameplay, a complete beastiary, art galleries and more. The second game in the package - Final Fantasy II in Japan - is the NES follow-up to the original and has never before been released in English.
