Square's official employment page has said that it is now looking for three new staff members to work on its upcoming games. The three positions include a Battle Planner, a Event Planner and a Map Planner.
The Battle Planner is going to take care of the Battle System in the game. Square says that he/she will also have to work well alongside the other planners in order to bring the best out of his/her job.
The Event Planner will deal heavily with the way the story is shown in the game. Square is already familiar with how characters emote in a game. It wants the new Event Planner to take this to the next level and make the expressions a whole lot more realistic.
And Finally, Squaresoft is looking for a Map Planner who will be responsible for the general look of the world in the game. Square desires someone who is creative and knows how to make gamers feel like they're in a huge world.
Squaresoft is most probably hiring the following for its upcoming PS2 title, Final Fantasy XII or for its upcoming sequel, Kingdom Hearts 2. This is not yet confirmed, but stay tuned to SI to find out more.
