The fiscal year that ends today has been one of Square's most successful years, and with the merger with Enix, things seem to be getting better. The strong sales of Final Fantsay X-2 in Japan and Kingdom Hearts in North America has led Square to pay its share holders 69 yen/share ($0.58 USD), which is an increase from the previous 30 yen/share ($0.25 USD). Square has a net profit of 11.5 billion yen (approx. $96 million USD) compared to a projected 4.8 billion yen (approx. $41 million USD) before. Its shares at present are trading at 1,484 yen (approx. $12.38 USD).
