On April 14th, Square Enix apparently applied for registration of the trademark Front Mission History at Japan's Patent Office. Previously, the company had already registered Front Mission as a trademark in the US. Since joining Yoshinori Kitase's development team as Final Fantasy X's battle director, things have been silent around Front Mission mastermind Toshirou Tsuchida. Whether the registration of the trademark will lead to an announcement regarding a new Front Mission title remains to be seen, though.
