Square Enix USA makes its first own investment

Square Enix USA, a 100% subsidiary company of Square Enix, has just become the 3rd biggest shareholder of a firm by the name of UIEvolution. This firm develops software that enables customers to turn their multimedia content into wireless applications that work across any device (cellphone, PDAs, etc ... ), operating system or communications network. The company can be hired to build wireless applications, or can offer programmers their unique software that will enable them to create wireless applications fast and easy for customers to enjoy. Square Enix USA spent four million dollars in order to become one of UIE's largest shareholders. The cellphone based gaming industry is getting quite popular in North America, and it seems that Square Enix is interested in getting into it early on.
