Much of the details regarding the contents of the latest CD by Nobuo Uematsu has already been reported awhile back by sifar. In addition to his article, here's a brief overview of what this FF Song Book CD is all about.

The CD is a collection of songs from the first FF title to the latest, FFXI. Selected from over 700 background musics, mostly selected from the instrumental ballads, only the best of the bests are being rearranged into accoustic sounds and added a new flavour of vocal lyrics. Also included in the CD is the rearranged version of "Eyes On Me". This FFVIII theme song, previously sung by Faye Wong in English has now been rewritten in Japanese, sung by Manami Kiota.
