Square Enix USA has just opened up a new website for Nobuo Uematsu. The site offers a profile of the Music Director, information on his "the Black Mages" band, and contains an English diary. The reason for this website is because of a new concert titled "Dear Friends - music from Final Fantasy" that will take place in the US right before the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). The exact date has been set to May 10, and will be held in the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. Uematsu will be working with the L.A. Philharmonic and the L.A. Chorale groups to perform many of the great songs from the Final Fantasy series.

This is Uematsu's first concert in the US, and hopefully will be the motivation Square Enix needs to have many more concerts in North America and Europe aswell. The concert is expected to last for two hours, and will offer some of the best pieces of Final Fantasy music up to date.
