Square Enix opened their mobile site, Square Enix Pocket Action, on i-mode yesterday, backing up the already opened Vodafone Live! site. The models NTT Docomo P505i/is, SO505i/is and the 900 Series is currently supported to access Pocket Action, where as the 501 Series is still under development planned to be supported in the future.
Pocket Action is a mobile site developed and managed by Square Enix. It offers original games specially developed for the mobile phones, to games arranged from their past titles to be compatible with the mobile phone specifications.
Square Enix launched 5 titles along with the opening of the i-mode site. Drakengard and Bust A Move being the arranged titles, while the other three: Legendary Warrior, Brave Shot and Alien's Fortress are completely new. Games which is currently only supported on Vodafone Live! include: Deep Tower: Matou Densetsu, Actraiser, Actraiser chapter 2, Alesta.
i-mode site offers a forums where users can meet other users and discuss these games and share information. It also has a net ranking where you can check the high scores to compete with other users nationwide.
The access fee is set at ¥350. (about US$3.25 and €2.6)
