Square Enix has recently announced that both Los Angeles-based Square Enix USA, Inc and London-based Square Enix Europe, Ltd. will be renamed on July the 1st. Both subsidiaries will operate under their new names, Square Enix, Inc. and Square Enix, Ltd, respectively.
The name changes are aimed to increase the awareness of Square Enix as a global corporate brand.
