Mist Walker is a brand new company that was created by none other than the inventor of the Final Fantasy series, Hironobu Sakaguchi. This happening was first told to the public via Famitsu Magazine in Japan. The Vice President of the company has now been announced as being Kensuke Tanaka. The VP has previously worked on the anime Final Fantasy Unlimited, and on game related products such as PlayOnline, Final Fantasy XI, and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.
This new company is focused on making games for the upcoming next generation consoles, and Sakaguchi has shown much interest in bringing unique play elements to his RPGs. More should be revealed in the days ahead with hopefully a press conference to introduce the company and all its staff.
