Square-Enix recently announced that their upcoming DVD movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will launch as a Special Edition DVD as well as a Normal Edition. Although little is known about what excatly comes with the Special Edition, Square-Enix is quoted as stating that it will contain "Bonus merchandise not available in the normal edition."
In related news, a "Major Announcement" regarding the film will be made next month, presumably just before E3 or even during the trade event itself.
