The DVD version of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children has sold 220,000 copies since its September 14th release in Japan. Thereby the movie sequel to Square Enix's best selling PlayStation RPG Final Fantasy VII has become the third most successful DVD release in the country so far this year. Sales data concerning the UMD version of the movie, which was released on the same day, is not available at this point.
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will be available in the US sometime during the holiday season. The European release date is still unknown.
