sifar    2005-11-15, 20:42 pm.

In the latest issue of Dengeki PS2 Magazine, Tetsuya Nomura discusses how he will start working on a new project after the completion and release of both Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII and Kingdom Hearts II. He stresses however that this new project is NOT a Final Fantasy 7 remake. He also mentions how the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII games will recieve a full presentation at the next Electronics Entertainment Expo. They include Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Before Crisis: FFVII, Dirge of Cerberus: FFVII, and more.

Nomura states that they are currently conceiving and checking out the battle system of Crisis Core, and so there is a lot of development left in the game. Before Crisis was focused on the history of the Turks, but Crisis Core will lean more on explaining the history of SOLDIER. He confirms for us that Crisis Core will make an appearance at E3 2006 and will mostly likely be the last episode of the compilation.

EDIT: Extra bits of related information:

  • Zack will have a major role in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.
  • Story of Crisis Core won't be limited to the Nibelheim Incident.
