Nintendo announed that they plan to release a bundle pack of Final Fantasy IV and their Game Boy Micro. The handheld system will have artwork by Yoshitaka Amano on its face cover and sell for approx. 17,200 JPY. The game is set to be released in Japan on December 15, 2005.

In related new, the last scan of Final Fantasy IV Advance, revealed some new details of the remake. It mentions how character switching can take place, and that there will be a new dungeon for fans to explore. The switching will be taking place in the Tower of Mysidia. It will only be open to characters who can make it to the tower. The new dungeon will have 50 floors and give players a chance to level up the other characters in the game and access to ultimate weapons, each of which will be guarded by a new Boss Monster.
