Long ago, Miasma swallowed the world. It's touch was fatal, and it claimed many lives. Only magic crystals can hold it at bay. However, the power of the crystals is not limitless. Each year a group of adventurers travels forth on a quest to replenish the crystals and save their village. Joining the crystal caravan sends you on the mission to retrieve the myrrh you need to replenish the crystal.
The journey takes you to exotic lands, where you will battle hordes of monsters, confront terrifying odds and perhaps even unravel the secret of Miasma itself.

Nintendo's Wii is soon to play host to yet another Crystal Chronicles title in the Final Fantasy franchise. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Little King and the Promised Land/Country of Promise will debut as a title on Wii Ware, the download service for the console. You can check out the trailer here!

Square Enix released Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles in North America on February 9, 2004. Commercials for the title have been airing consistently on North American TV stations.
