Charts are in again this week for Famitsu, and FF13 is yet again reigning supreme. Such spectacular news brings to mind the question of whether the air is thin atop that high and mighty throne of #1 Most Wanted Game? Oh bother, do we really care? No! As long as FF13 doesn't take three years (which is most likely will anyways) those kind addicts in Japan will continue to elect 12's successor to the top spot. Also of interest is former Square exec Hironobu Sakaguchi's upcoming Xbox 360 "Blue Dragon" tapping out at number three.
On this list at number 11 is the GBA port of Final Fantasy VI, arguably one of the best entrants in the franchise, which is due out by the end of this year.
The lucky few in Japan who snagged a PS3 at launch also got a regurgitated E3 FFXIII trailer along with their shiny new PS3, while those of us stateside can wander into the nearest Wal Mart or Target, and stare mindlessly at the wonders of the shiny PS3.
