Kingdom Hearts, another smash hit of Square Enix, recently hit the 10 million unit mark. The series, which premiered in 2002 with "Kingdom Hearts," was followed up with a sequel in 2004 for the Gameboy Advance, "Chain of Memories," and most recently with the release of "Kingdom Hearts II" in 2005. The tally accounts for all regions in which the games have been released.

"When we first started developing Kingdom Hearts, we never imagined we would pass the 10 million mark so quickly. We are delighted and extremely grateful for the support from our fans around the globe," comments Shinji Hashimoto, producer. "We hope to continue to provide games which fulfill your anticipation in the future."

Kingdom Hearts Japan: 1.5 million+ North America: 3 million+ Europe & PAL: 1.1 million+

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories Japan: 400,000+ North America: 900,000+ Europe & PAL: 200,000+

Kingdom Hearts II Japan: 1.1 million+ North America: 1.7 million+ Europe & PAL: 700,000+
