Square continued its string of announcements during this week's company conference by releasing more details on Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicle. Four GBAs can be connected at a time, one for each player, enabling simultaneous play.
The GBAs will display health information for the player's character and only for that character, as status info will not be visible on the main screen. This is aimed at making communication and cooperation essential between the players.
Whether the GBA will be the only way to control the game remains unconfirmed, but it appears to be necessary regardless. Nintendo will be publishing the game in Japan, adding to the profits from all those GBA-GC link cables.
