Hmm I kinda prefer the Japanese voices.
It would be nice if we had the choice for the Japanese voices with English subs.
I want this game, even though I already own it :P kewh, have you played the Japanes version? In this instance I think the English voices are more spot on than their Japanese counterparts, with the exception of Sephiroth. His Japanese voice was just too spooky and awesome.
tbh these voices are great representations of the jp voices. though i agree with pg on sephiroth: his us actor has always played him cocky, where his jp actor will send chills down your spine.
They sound all right but I prefer the Japanese voices. Would be nice to play the game with Japanese sound and English subs.
One of the advantages to having jp voice actors and subtitles is that those of us who aren't fluent in Japanese find it harder to criticise the voice acting. I find a lot of English voice actors corny because I know the language so well, but in Japanese you would have to be a really bad voice actor for me to think that it is forced or corny.
i think i prefer the japs voice actors but in english they sound more spesial in a way cant be done by the japs voice actors...zack in the japs sounds like a kid but in the eng he sounds like a man -_-
