Square Enix USA have picked the beta testers for Final Fantasy XI, the testers will play Final Fantasy XI and Tetra Master and look for eventual bugs. The beta testing kit should be sent to the accepted PlayStation 2 testers shortly. Here's what they said on the official site.

The selected participants for the PlayOnline™, FINAL FANTASY®XI, and Tetra Master™ Public Beta Test on PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system are being notified. Selected participants for the Windows version will be notified shortly. Notifications will be mailed from the PlayOnline Information Center with a "us.playonline.com" domain.
