Square Enix announced today that it would push back the release of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles in Japan. The GameCube title was supposed to be released on July the 18th, however, due to there being a few bugs, Square Enix decided to push its release date back to August 8, 2003. This decision came about due to the bad experience that had occured with Star Ocean 3, where many copies of the game had to be thrown away due to the bugs in the game.

Nintendo's Wii is soon to play host to yet another Crystal Chronicles title in the Final Fantasy franchise. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Little King and the Promised Land/Country of Promise will debut as a title on Wii Ware, the download service for the console. You can check out the trailer here!

Square Enix released Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles in North America on February 9, 2004. Commercials for the title have been airing consistently on North American TV stations.
