Sword of Mana Event Announced

Square Enix has announced an event to commemorate the release of its Game Boy Advance RPG Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu (Sword of Mana) and its soundtrack in Japan on September 6th. At hand for the event, held in the event hall of Akihabara's Asobi City game store, will be producer Kouichi Ishii, composer Kenji Itou as well as character illustrator and Brownie Brown representative director Shinichi Kameoka. Attending fans will have the chance to win three Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu Mana Blue GBA SP bundles, ten Saboten-kun t-shirts and 30 posters.

Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu will be available in Japan on August 29th. The standard version will retail for 5,800 yen ($48.66 US), whereas the limited edition mana blue GBA SP bundle will cost 18,300 yen ($153.54 US). Sword of Mana is set to be released in North America on December 1st with an MSRP of $34.99 US.

Square Enix Europe has announced that their latest Game Boy Advance title, Sword of Mana will be released in Europe on March the 18th 2004. The game has already been released in Japan (where it sold over 500,000 copies) and North America.
