During its third annual Gamers' Day event in San Francisco, Sony Computer Entertainment announced that the 40GB PlayStation 2 harddisk drive will be available in the US sometime in March 2004 carrying a price tag of $99 US. It will ship with Square Enix's MMORPG Final Fantasy XI pre-installed. The PlayStation 2 version of the game will be published by Sony Computer Entertainment America.
