Square-Enix recently registered the term "The Star Onions" with The United States Patent and Trademark Office. The Star Onions are of course a mischevious bunch of youngsters hailing from Windurst in the company's MMORPG Final Fantasy XI: Online, and also the name adopted by a group of Square-Enix composers and Musuicians. Their debut pop-arrangement album "The Star Onions: Music from the Other Side of Vana'diel" will release in Japan on August 24th.
Whether the trademark refers to the in game group or the musical group was not disclosed, but it would be a safe bet to assume that "Music from the Other Side of Vana'diel" may be heading to the US in the near future.
