Square Enix Announces Next FFXI Fan Festival

Square Enix has announced the third annual Final Fantasy XI Fan Festival, set to take place at the Santa Monica, CA Pier, taking place from March 9 to March 11. Tickets will be $85 if players register ahead of time, and $100 at the door, although availability is limited.

Those attending the FFXI Fan Festival will be able to take part in more than a few FFXI-themed events. First and foremost, players will be able to play the newest expansion, The Treasures of Aht Urghan, featuring the new Blue Mage class. Attendees will also be able to meet members of the Japanese development team.

There are also contests for attendees to compete in, from the Ballista Royale Finals to the Fan Movie Contest to the Costume Contest. There will also be a raffle for attendees for items including a Chains of Promathia PC.
